How do you like sudoku puzzles in booklet?
I hope we will have everything done in the first week on January.
Right now our friends solve it so we can eliminate mistakes and to make decision about points of each puzzle.
The submitting formular will be prepared in few days.
We are working on it, it´s not done yet, but I hope we will manage it in time.
When can we expect the complete Instruction Booklet with the points for each puzzle...the way of submitting answers etc...??
there is used the same thickness as on the other puzzles, so I hope it´s good to see on the paper.
If there will be a problem, so please let me know.
Yesterday i took printout of the practice puzzles... I had to zoom out to 100% (or i guess lower) first before taking printouts....and because of that the borders of ring sudoku arent properly visible... does others also have the same problem....?? If not then its ok as i can manage it during the competition...

i guess many here and even your team mates must be knowing the trick behind ring/circular sudoku.... its also not one of my favourite but its something you cant ignore...one of the easiest among the given variants... i will prefer to attempt it first.

Many of these variants you can find on FED sudoku server and people can play them on-line there.
Some of them were on the WSC in Prag or sudoku championship of Czech Republic or Gran Prix.
You´re right with Ring. It´s just classic sudoku, but I don´t like these type of sudoku because It´s circular. This is the same problem for me like some symbols instead of numbers.

Any problems with design of tables?
I am very happy with the varieties I've not seen before, and glad to see some of the ones with which I am familiar.
I will say, however, that Ring is just a different visual representation of a classic sudoku -- a representation that makes it more difficult to use logic (for me at least), not because the puzzle is any harder but just because we're not used to things being circular. I think it is less worthy than the other puzzles, because it doesn't test anything logic-related -- it just rewards people for visualizing circles more quickly than others.
The rest of the puzzles are terrific. I will attempt the set tonight and may come up with other comments afterwards.
